Our First outing, 9 May 2009

A new small group has been formed at CVCF.

It is for women wanting to get out of the house and do something different.
This is a reminder of our first meeting coming up this Saturday, May 9th.

• Here are the details:
• When: May 9th, meeting at the East entrance at 8:30 a.m.
• Where: Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve. I've heard the location of the east entrance can be difficult to find.

From the Tierrasanta Campus, directions are:15 NorthExit 17 (Mercy Road)Turn left at Mercy Rd/Scripps Poway Pkwy. Continue to follow Mercy Rd. Cross Black Mountain Rd. at the light. Go through the gate, there is a $3.oo charge. Park on the left. Entrance is straight ahead. I'll look for everyone near the entrance. See you there! ~Kristina

The east entrance was very difficult to find. But after being determined and a bit of circling, I was able to find the group. I have corrected the directions to the Park, so you won't have the same problems that I experienced.

I was parking just as they started out. I caught up with them and had a very good hike to the water fall.

I can't wait to see what other activities we get to do together.
